Eddie bauer 3 in 1 carrier. HELP

how the hell do you wear this on your hip??? There is literally no instructions, no videos, nothing. Does anyone have this?

Have you checked on YouTube? That's where I found instructions for a sling I have.

I found this post on Babycenter... I hope it helps!!

Anyway, to convert it to hip position, you basically take out the support thing that velcros in for the newborn/baby. Then put on the sling and put your child in so he/she is sitting in the sling, with legs wrapped around you. Here they are verbatim:

1. Detach velcro on each side of flap [of the infant support piece]. 2. Slide flaps through the tabs and remove infant body support harness from sling. 3. Put sling on your body. 4. Lower child into sling. 5. Guide legs through the lower part of the sling. 6. Adjust child so that legs straddle your hip and their arms are out of the sling. Make sure fabric is pulled under child's bottom to form a seat area. 7. Tight shoulder strap by pulling it with one hand so that baby is positioned comfortably on your body. 8. To remove child from sling, reach back and lossen adult shoulder strp. Carefully lift child out of sling.

Note: it does not appear that there is anything in the hip position that supports the child's leg (no strap between them) or anything really to keep them "in" the sling!! They are basically sitting in this "pocket" and hopefully don't squirm.
